“A truly glorious play, a gem and a delight and privilege to read” — Greg Wise

“Highly commended” — National Theatre

Lovely, Dark & Deep Productions proudly presents the premiere of Storms, Maybe Snow, a powerful new work by playwright and director Miranda Lapworth. The production will tour three London venues this autumn.

Seven Dials Playhouse | 16–20 September 2025

The Union Theatre | 30 September–2 October 2025

The Drayton Arms Theatre | 4–8 November 2025

Developed with support and encouragement from respected figures across British theatre, Storms, Maybe Snow is an intimate exploration of love, memory and family tension in the face of change.

Love isn’t always easily understood.

Least of all by those suffering from it.

Lou and Jack have a long history with their own jokes and silly games evolved over the years. Jack counters Lou’s spikiness and morose pessimism at her recent diagnosis with good humour and midnight feasts. His greatest challenge is guiding his own birthday dinner through the choppy waters of Lou and their daughter, Mariana’s, antagonism, cheerfully abetted by Mariana’s partner, Isobel. But their world of banter and brave resolve comes crashing down on a rainy night; lifelong bitterness and anger finally boil over and hidden truths creep into the light.

Jenny Lloyd-Lyons plays Lou Morley

Lloyd-Lyons has been treading the boards since the age of 11, including the Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre in Crayford, Bromley Little Theatre, and the open-air cliff-edge Minack Theatre, Cornwall. She was a founding member of Grange Drama Associates, performing Shakespeare in Hever and Leeds Castles in Kent. Jenny then trained at Central School of Speech and Drama, which has been followed by voice-over work, children’s theatre in Bradford, and TV commercials. She has also appeared in productions at Lewes Little Theatre, Cuckfield and the Stables, with most recent roles in Tales from Wales and as Maggie in Lovesong. Jenny has directed plays at Lewes, Brighton New Venture, the Stables, and National Trust Barn Theatre in Smallhythe, including A Streetcar Named Desire, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, First Bus to Ballinabeg, Whose Life Is It Anyway, Shadowlands and Ladies’ Day.

Neil Sellman plays Jack Morley

Sellman has performed in Hastings, Brighton, Lewes and London. His musical theatre experience has included Camelot (Arthur), Guys and Dolls (Sky & Benny Southstreet), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Urinetown (Cladwell B Cladwell), Into the Woods (Jack), A Little Night Music (Carl Magnus), Sweeney Todd (Judge Turpin), Cabaret (MC), Carousel (Mr Snow) and La Cage Aux Folles (George). For the past eight years he has chaired the Stables Theatre and Art Centre in Hastings Old Town. Neil’s directing experience includes Jesus Christ Superstar at Devonshire Park in Eastbourne, and Tales from Wales, Little Shop of Horrors and A Christmas Carol at the Stables.

Steph Sarratt plays Mariana Morley

Sarratt is an actor from London who trained at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in stage, screen and radio performance. Prior to training, Steph studied at Durham University and was a member of the Kiln Theatre Young Company. Steph has performed in a range of theatre productions across the UK, including Face Down in the Dirt (King’s Head Theatre), Anna Karenina (Richard Burton Company), Rhino[s] (Lyric Evolution Festival), Grounded (NSDF), and most recently, Blueberries for the Rainbow (The Bread & Roses Theatre).

Sarah Cameron-West plays Isobel Doyle

Cameron-West is a writer, actor and producer. She is most well known for her critically acclaimed hit show KAREN, which sold out its Underbelly season at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024 and has since been signed for TV development by Hat Trick Productions. Sarah has also played roles across TV, film and theatre including BAFTA winner Josie Copeland’s Walk Home, Amazon Prime’s Anansi Boys and Robert Zemeckis’s Allied. She has also set up two theatre production companies to champion new writing across London venues.

Esme Seber as Understudy (Mariana/Isobel)

Seber is a BRIT School graduate and completed her Master’s at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting in March 2024. She toured an original Leo Butler play Decades around various fringe festivals, with a run at The Oval House Theatre. Esme's professional stage debut was in Agatha Christie's A Spiders Web, directed by Brian Blessed at The Mill Theatre, Sonning. She has been involved in various award-winning short films. While training at GFCA, her roles include Miss Julie (After Miss Julie), Messenger (Medea), Ranevskya (The Cherry Orchard) and Sarah (The Lover). Esme recently completed filming Killer, a dark comedy short directed by Ella Muscroft due to be released in March 2026. She is currently training with Scott Williams at The Impulse Company, London with the intention of teaching Meisner Technique in correlation with her acting.
