The Arts Centre, Hounslow’s Cinderella nominated for three Pantomime Awards

The Arts Centre, Hounslow has been nominated for three Pantomime Awards following its 2022 production of Cinderella, which ran from Wednesday 23rd November until Friday 30th December.

Written by Jonathan Ashby-Rock, Hounslow’s version of the classic fairy tale is a finalist within the Best Ensemble, Best Sisters and Best Small Panto categories. The 197-seater production has been pitted against far larger shows, including the London Palladium's Jack and the Beanstalk and the Duke of York’s Theatre’s Mother Goose.

The Arts Centre’s Artistic Director and Writer/Co-Director of Cinderella, Jonathan Ashby-Rock says, "We are thrilled to be recognised by The Pantomime Awards 2023 and it is such a privilege to be nominated in not just one but three categories! Now in its eighth year, each pantomime we produce has grown bigger and bigger and last year the theatre was literally bursting at the seams! In a world that seems bleak, we wanted to bring some warmth and cheer to the festive season and it’s an honour to be included alongside such esteemed theatres and productions far larger than ours – we really feel like we are walking with giants!”
